It never gets any easier for us to make these kinds of updates. That said, we do want to make sure that this information is available for those who want to know.

We are sorry to say that Crank is no longer with us. With the support of her various doctors, we chose to try anything and everything to help prolong her life as long as she was happy and comfortable. Please know we did everything we could for her.

As you may know, all of Gadget's kittens were born with severe birth defects and Crank was no exception. Our hope for her was that she could grow big enough to undergo more testing and therefore have more treatment options available to her. As she continued to get bigger, her system became more taxed and ultimately reached a point where it could no longer keep up with the growing demands. We can assure you that she was happy right to the very end, purring and enjoying herself in her favorite Avogato carrier with Mr. A.

While we're of course saddened by the loss of Crank, we will continue to do our best to remain positive and focus on the good. We hope you are able to do the same.
