Ben

We don't know how to say this: Late Saturday night, the vet called to tell us that Ben had stopped breathing and his heart had stopped. They did CPR and administered 2 doses of epinephrine but he did not recover. We are heartbroken.

We greatly appreciate all the support you have shown us this entire time and we know that you are surely as sad about this as we are.  Thank you all for helping to ensure Ben had the absolute best possible care.

While we're all suffering, we'd like to stay as positive as possible and stay focused on the good, as much as we can -- for the sake of the kittens that we are caring for now.
