Professor L. Oganberry

Professor L. Oganberry is a former graduate of the Kitten Academy, and after showing great promise in the second session of 2015, he was appointed as a member of the Academy Faculty. "Logan" or "Logee", as he is informally referred to in the halls of the Academy, specializes in language studies and is thought to have the most versatile vocabulary of all the members of the Faculty. He has been directing courses in Advanced Meowing for Human Communications since 2016.

In his spare time, Professor L. Oganberry maintains his robust physique by playing fetch with his human staff at Kitten Academy. During the warmer months, he can be found at the Academy's Catio, monitoring squirrel and avian activity for his research projects. That being said, he does not shy away from the cold either, especially when there is important data to be collected.

Over the years, Logan has grown into a thoughtful nurturer of kitten students who are in the early weeks of their education. Kittens are often intimidated by their first ventures out of their classroom into the larger halls of the Academy. Visits to the spa for human socialization are initially overwhelming but the presence of a familiar teacher can be reassuring. Logan consistently maintains an affable attitude when he finds kittens in these situations. He goes as far as comforting them with friendly licks and brief grooming sessions as long as he has no other critical matters to attend to. It is no surprise that the students refer to him as “Uncleberry.”

From the Desk of Professor L. Oganberry

The professor acknowledges rumors involving him and mysterious appearances of cat pee at various locations across the Academy. He has expressed profound disappointment regarding these rumors which have been spread by unknown agents in attempts to malign his reputation. He adds that any “evidence” that has been presented is mere conjecture. He recommends that his colleagues, students and staff maintain a healthy level of skepticism towards pictures and videos that may be presented in this regard, and goes on to add that technology allows astounding levels of content manipulation these days.
